In 2002, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota (BCBSM) opened a 30,400-square-foot claims processing center in Virginia. In January 2003, the Eagan-based company completed construction of a second claims processing facility in Aurora. Now, the company has built an additional $8 million call center next to the existing claims center in Virginia.

With more than 250 employees working in its two claims centers, Blue Cross Blue Shield executives say its growing presence in the region is a result of continued

success.

"We've been very pleased with the number and quality of candidates that applied," said Mary Jane Snyder, call center director. "The performance of our workforce here is outstanding."
