The region does not fall short of things to see and do. Explore the region's ethnic heritage (and your very own) at the Minnesota Discovery Center in Chisholm. Answer the call of the wild with a visit to the International Wolf Center in Ely, where you are able to observe wolves, learn from staff naturalists about wolf life and habitat, and more.
While northeastern Minnesota still relies on the mining industry today, logging brought many settlers to the region years ago. Take a trip back in time at the Forest History Center in Grand Rapids, where you'll witness a recreated turn-of-the-century logging camp.
