Minnesota has long been a leader in healthcare and the northeast Minnesota region does not fall short. With 18 hospitals within the northeastern region (including two world class systems – St. Mary’s & St. Luke’s), over 60 outpatient clinics, more than 200 physicians and over 100 dentists, available, there is quality and accessible healthcare within northeastern Minnesota.
In northeastern Minnesota, the physician ratio is 3 per 1,000. The dentist ratio per, 1000 is 1:1,000.
